Hummingbird Indigenous Family Services is a culturally responsive, full-spectrum, Indigenous doula program based in Seattle Washington. The HIFS logo is a contemporary Indigenous style that is; welcoming, inclusive, and friendly. The colour palette is representative of the colours of the hummingbird. The original requests for the logo was to incorporates a hummingbird, a flower along with the creation star.
The final design is composed of a hummingbird hovering above a 8 point star/flower. The 8 point star - the creation star is stylized with a star blanket pattern. The flower contains representation of people, community, the 4 directions.
